Dungeons and Dragons (5th Edition) and more

It's that time of year again; the annual Introductory RPG Oneshots!
Ever been interested to try tabletop RPG's like Dungeons and Dragons, but never had the chance? Well, now is the time! Every year we run a huge event geared towards getting new players interested in RPG's, so don't worry if you don't know how to play, this is designed to be run for new people.
The way it works is we gather a crowd of people to the Social Sciences cafe at 12 (Noon), and those running games will pitch their sessions, and players will then split off into groups as they choose what they wish to play. It's that simple. And the great thing is, there's always something for everyone, with previous years featuring everything from the classic High Fantasy of D&D, to the Grimdark of the 41st Millennium with Dark Heresy, and from Star Wars' Outer Rim in Edge of the Empire, to 20th Century Eldritch Investigations in Call of Cthulhu. All sorts of systems will be run, and although the event is primarily aimed at new players, we welcome seasoned veterans and new hands alike.
And at the end of the day, we'll be meeting up together again at Varsity (not the Dirty Duck) for drinks, food, and a chance to share stories of the day's madcap adventures.
So come on down and try something new! You don't need society membership, and you don't even really need to sign up; we'll take anyone who turns up, but it really helps us get an idea of numbers if you do sign up here.
For further updates see our RPG's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/WarwickRPGs), the Society Discord Server (use the code xdDZnYQ in the Discord app or on the Discord site), and this forum thread where some (but not all) GM's will be sharing their pitches: https://www.warwicktabletop.co.uk/forum/thread/280/
And finally, if you're interested in running a game instead of playing, please visit this thread https://www.warwicktabletop.co.uk/forum/thread/281/ and do not sign up to the event on this page. This is so we can have a good idea of how many players will be turning up, and therefore how many GM's & rooms etc. we need.
