TW: descriptions of violence against animals, violence against people, murder, blasphemy, unfunny low-brow humour that makes you cringe but in a fun way, I guess.
17+. THIS IS NOT D&D.
Kill Puppies For Satan is a hit rules-lite role-playing game about Killing Puppies For Satan. Only animals: if you kill a sinner, they go to hell, and hell is overcrowded; if you kill a saint, they go to heaven and God gets their souls. You get to play as 80s' losers: nerdy kids who play D&D in a high-school club instead of, I dunno, going to Halloween parties. Of course, your school D&D club is a satanic cult in disguise; and, of course, Satan made a bet with God: God says that your common friend, Henry, who is not cool enough to be a satanist, has no chance to go to the Halloween party for cool kids with a date. But you see, kids, Satan believes in everybody's potential: he even believes in your little group; that's why he "asks" you to help Henry not just go to the party with a girl, but to go to party with Heather, The Coolest Girl In The School. Now it's your turn to deal with the mess, mostly through the use of satanic magic and by Killing Puppies For Satan.
I cannot warn you heavily enough that the game is about Killing Puppies For Satan. We will make the characters together (quickly) and then we will help Henry get a girl of his dreams, while you are Killing Puppies For Satan.
We will be using safety tools: also, please be advised that this game is not for everybody. You get magic points for descriptions of the ways you Kill Puppies For Satan in! The game is built around mean humour and overt edginess that parodies the Satanic Panic around Dungeons and Dragons. The game is very different to the usual RPGs; please, beware! The game also portrays God as a mean-spirited asshole: please, be warned if that is not okay for you. The scenario presented will be playing with some sexist media tropes: we will be making fun of them. I will try to secure a separate room so we will not disrupt other people (and also for privacy).
The genre of the game: an unnatural mix of Stranger Things, Scream, Heathers and Clockwork Orange.
