Hello,
It’s the most important week of the year, as this Wednesday you get to decide who you want running the society for the next year. So, you better turn up.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

This Wednesday is our most important event of the year, the AGM. Make sure to come along in order to vote on the exec for the coming year as well as motions raised about how the society is run. You can find statements from current nominees at the above links, so make sure to give them a read and more importantly if you are running add your own. You can also use these links to propose your own motions to be voted on.

TABLETOP RUNS A MURDER MYSTERY
Week 8, March 2nd 6pm-10pm, S0.11 Social sciences building
Arrgh matey! It be the Murder Mystery. If you have signed up to take part in this terms murder mystery as a sneaky ninja, cutthroat pirate, or no good cowboy then don’t forget that it’s this Friday. For those who want a more relaxing experience of not being a murder suspect then you can also turn up and put your detective skills to the test.

WARGAMING
Monday 17:00 to 22:00, B2.01 Science Concourse
Shoot me now (high pilot skill) or shoot me later (low pilot skill), every rebel pilot to his ship, death to each and every traitor, I evade your peoples hit! Make sure and turn up on Monday for even more X-wing, Warhammer, or Warmahordes. With multiple society armies all you have to do is show up and we’ll get you a game.

MAGIC: THE GATHERING
Tuesday 18:00 to 22:00, B2.01 Science Concourse
Needing to fuel that cardboard addiction? Then don’t worry, we’ve got you covered, as Tuesday is magic draft day. We will be drafting Rivals of Ixalan with the usual £8 entry which can be reduced by £2 per pack supplied yourself. As always final registration for the draft is 18:30.

BOARDGAMES
Wednesday 14:00 to 22:00, OC0.04 Oculus Building
“What guild are you in?” “You’re at Subway, what sort of sandwich would you like?” “What’s your favourite song in the Jazz club?” The Spyfall questions are really getting strange and I feel like I may be in some small way responsible for this, it really is a wonder we ever catch the spy. So, if you want to bring normality back to this game make sure to turn up on Wednesday.

CASUAL CARD GAMES
Thursday 16:00 to 22:00, WA1.15 Avon Building (Westwood Campus)
Fancy a game of Commander, or how about testing that Netrunner deck? Then turn up on Thursday and pay your respects to his highness the King of Card Games (CCG rep Roff) and maybe he will grant you permission to carry out this noblest of pursuits.

TABLETOP ROLEPLAYING GAMES
Saturday 12:00 to 22:00, Meeting in the Social Sciences Café
As we head in to week 8 we have plenty of campaigns underway, so if you are involved with one of those make sure and keep in contact with your DM. If you are interested in running your own game then make sure to head over to our website where you can set up an event.

LIVE ACTION ROLEPLAYING
Sunday 12:00 to 18:00, OC1.01 Oculus Building
This weeks LARP adventure was run by LARP regular and potential future LAPR rep Jakub. Hopefully everyone who took part enjoyed the change of pace while providing Jakub with a good sense of what will be required over the coming year.

WEEKLY NEWS
Last weekend saw a few of our members head to Birmingham for Bonescon, a major wargames convention. At this they indulged in multiple games of their favourite systems while trying out lots of great new games on show.
