💭 Reminders/Updates

Equalitea happened! We raised £179! Yay!
- There were so many people who made cake and most of it got eaten so that was a huge success
RingFit stream happened, so now all that’s left is Anime Intro video? And TTR board game demo?
- Anime Intro next step is music (Finnbar) - hopefully over Christmas
We determined that we cannot run tabletop evening over the holidays in-person - the only rooms that are available do not have chairs, as they are sorting furniture over the holiday so cannot loan those rooms.
- What do we want to do about running online? 1 night or multiple nights?
- Alex would rather it be one evening (wargames and board games)
- CCGs players will organise when they want. And no draft.

- Set up in 3 different rooms, 2 versions of Oli’s game, 1 version of Lap’s
- Toby from Autism @ Warwick is running something
Oli’s mystery RPG?
- Premise: run something for a bigger group of people than usual, relatively casual
- But the Autism @ Warwick collab has kind of taken precedence
- Oli will think about it and get back to us… Maybe for the end of Week 10. Won’t be able to do Term 2 due to deadlines, so it’s this or nothing.

CS board games next week progress update
- Week 10 board games is now a partial collab with CS - it will start from 2pm in the CS building (part of their Christmas event) until 5pm (C1.01/04).
- They will be catering (pizza and beer?) and advertising.
- Board games are being driven to/from B2.02 by Lea (will sort out logistics).
- Key card access for front door will be nullified. Stairs might be keycard access, if so will have to monitor Discord and let people in.
- 🏃‍♂️ Alex and Hannah: need to advertise the room change in board games FB and in the newsletter and on Discord

🕓 LARP Attendance?

Issues with attendance:
- Last week was 4 + James and Nathan
- 2 of the regulars are graduating after this year
- 1 person stopped going due to lack of interest
Some people don’t want to do LARP because it’s not empire
- Can’t do empire-like as a soc because: it’s a festival, drinking, camping
Is the concept of LARP palatable?
- Why aren’t people showing up?
- Is there enough advertisement of it? Inside the soc weekly, outside the soc in potential linked socs?
- Is Sunday a good day? (Assignment/reading catch up day)
  - Perhaps move to Wednesday (like 2-5pm)
  - Can do a trial of this next term
Form to try and gauge the interest or lack thereof in LARP?
- Why aren’t/are people interested, why aren’t people turning up?
Addendum: Getting LARP equipment out of the cupboard
- Find a way to tie weapons together into carry packages (fabric bag, bungee cords etc)
- Compartmentalise equipment into good and less-used and only take the good stuff on the weekly basis
- The box needs replacing
