🎲 Tabletop Weekend!
The week is here folks! It's tabletop weekend! On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th drop by B2.02 any time between 10am and 10pm to come and join in with some games. Bring along your friends, or come to meet some other people in our society!
🤔 Want to be an assistant rep?
To finish off our exec team for the 2024-25 year, we are looking for assistant reps to support our faction reps in their roles. We are currently looking for Assistants for CCGs, RPGs & Wargames. If you're interested, reach out to the relevant faction reps (Lily for CCGs, Anna for RPGs and James for Wargames) if you have any questions, and pop along to our exec meeting this Friday, 3-4 in H0.03.

💭 What happened last week? 💭
Last Week in LARP! The party, consisting of a Lupan, an ex-Lupan and His Superfluousness, High Keeper of the Mysteries, Mr Barry Fletcher (Baz for short) ventured back into what was actually backwater Kitaland, on the hunt for Jimbles the witch, who had been previously double-crossed by other LARP adventurers, in order to finally acquire the weakness of Flob. They encountered many things, including singing bandits, a very upset spirit, some imps on holiday, and the wild and wondrous creations of Jimbles, before they were able to negotiate with the witch. They acquired the one weapon capable of harming Flob, but was the cost truly worth it?
Last Week in Lumina Falls! Recovering from the earthquake, the kids rushed to the cave where many of their friends had been trapped or hurt by the tremors. Arriving, they found militant figures on their way out, and though he fought to the end, Rick Taylor found himself killed in a shootout. The group mourned this loss (as they will continue to do for weeks to come) but they were forced to push onwards and check on the rest of town. And in checking on, the group met Ewan Porter, the nerdy nobody who keeps proving himself very useful to the party.
Last Week in Murderous Misfits! In Arksar, a small scuffle with some cultists in town led to enough call lightning getting used for Sparky, the party's blue dragon, to age up! (don't question it). Having dealt with the cult, the group returned to their main mission, heading to Vona. In Vona, they were faced with a battle with swarms of unrecognisable monsters: a swarm that had the power to take out the party's tank, Kora. A very clutch revivify from Valerius staved off death, allowing the group to continue through Vona and discover the truth about the Creator, and his creations.
Last Week in Nights of Payne Town! Last week saw the start of a new City of Mist campaign as a group of eclectic characters: including Hallie, a babysitter with the rift of Hestia; Sable, a detective with the rift of Noir; Flynn, a broke uni student with the rift of Robin Hood; Nami, a fortune teller with the rift of Fortuna; and Raven, a cult leader with the rift of Loki. As you can probably guess... chaos ensued. Notable moments include Raven blowing a hole in an art gallery and proceeding to gaslight themselves into thinking it wasn't there, and perhaps the most wonderful quote from Nami, ‘If I arrive may I please smell it’.
Extra Bonus End Bit
