π What happened last week? π
Last Week in LARP! Hellenites, man, I don't know what to tell ya. Halfdan, a very high-ranking hellenite with a personal quest to conquer the moon, and Ilya, Kitaland black ops, ventured up towards a void temple with a hellenite army a day behind them, with Halfdan's one-minded mission of take over the moon. Many Nameless were encountered, so was wizard tennis, and so was an unfortunate acting troupe. They fought their way into the temple - Ilya like a surgeons knife & Halfdan like a sledgehammer put on the end of a drill - before fighting the gate guardian of the moon and his fragments of life and forge. Eventually, the fight was won and the archway to the moon opened, where Halfdan stepped in, never to be seen again.
Last Week in RPGs!
-
Murderous Misfits - Rosetta White became Rosetta Clemence-White as she married her love who she had met in the first session of the game, and the group shared in final moments of peace with their friends and family. Then, the Murderous Misfits faced their final battles as a party. Another god defeated, and the two angels that had been with them since the very beginning killed, the group sucessfully saved the realm of Harken, and though there were some close calls, no one was lost in the process.
-
Lumina Falls - In a race to get this ritual done ASAP, the group started gathering the other aspects required including scientifical equipment and a large tome (acquired from the crazy Jimmy who lives on the outskirts of town). Now ready to complete the ritual, all the group has to do is wait for the perfect moment, and hope that it'll save the town.
- Heroes of Ellyne - This group got their first session underway, being introduced to Sari the rogue, Rhys the bard, Harth the ranger and Silvia the Cleric. The group met for the first time (or perhaps the first time in a long time for siblings Rhys and Sari), and bonded over a few drinks before their night was rudely interrupted by a group of bandits!
Extra Bonus End Bit
We're back with another game from Feldspar Buttons Firebreath III's Funky Beloved Fun (the obnoxiously named minigame)!!!
Congrats to those who got last week's answer correct with the official ruling being: 'A fall from a great height is one of the most common hazards facing an adventurer. At the end of a fall, a creature takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet it fell, to a maximum of 20d6. The creature lands prone, unless it avoids taking damage from the fall'
This week, the challenge is to guess the board game that Feldspar is describing. Bare in mind that Feldspar is a crocheted dragon and hasn't played any games before, so it may be described very very very badly.
'Spin the spinny thing and share braincells. That's it. That's the game.'
Hydrate, don't diedrate, have a good week, and I'll see you next time! π
