💭 What happened last week? 💭
Last Week in LARP!
There are many thing mages can do. Like keep people alive. And nearly get killed by a hunter clan for disrespecting the rules of hospitality. Lupan life mage, Aurelian, went on a quest to find the mysterious missing life scholar, known only by Vitalis in the endless woods, hoping to get him to teach him hidden knowledge, known only to the most powerful of life mages. Along his journey, he met many people, including the aforementioned hunters, some angry? knights, and a witch running a bar in hopes of finding a coven. Eventually, he located Vitalis, who taught him the true extent of the power life mages hold.
Last Week in RPGS!
-
Tomb of Annihilation - Over the last two weeks the party has finished gathering a number of relics belonging to the nine trickster gods and are now making their way towards the final level of the tomb, after surviving a number of curses, traps and even undead they will attempt to locate the final key they require to open the great door at the end of the tomb. -
New Campaign - The players travel to the capital of a kingdom ruled over by the far reaching vampiric Desputsch dynasty. After fighting past Vampire spawn bodyguards, they kill the king in his bedchamber. The 25AC artificer then strolls out through the front gates of the castle tanking nearly 100 pot-shots from the archers, before inciting a riot in the town square. (Highlight courtesy of @possumface)
-
Kingdom of Igadale - A monk, a wizard, a druid, a fighter and a bard find themselves at a royal ball, instructed to protect the royal family. They did just that, though they weren't expecting that the protection would require them to protect from the inside out, as the Queen's mind was plagued with some kind of shadowy magic.
-
Nights of Payne Town - The group were able to combine leads gained from the last couple of cases and found themselves investigating a therapy clinic in town. Long story turned very short, Raven (or at this point Nemo), submitted herself to an asylum for the clinically insane to get the group a ticket in to investigate the inner workings of whatever was going on here.
-
Lumina Falls - The ritual finally came into effect! Though not without complication as the group were dragged into a liminal space, and had to fight off a number of memories that had been modified to become more upsetting than their original state. The group fought through, and the ritual was a success, but in seeing each other's memories, the group discovered that new friend Ewan Porter was not who he said he was, and was in fact Ewan Clark, son to the Doctor that the group have been up against since the beginning.
Extra Bonus End Bit
Some people really struggled with 'Feldspar Buttons Firebreath III's Funky Beloved Fun (the obnoxiously named minigame)' last week, so I'm here to inform you that the answer was in fact the boardgame 'Wavelength'. Congratulations to anyone who got that correct!
This week, Feldspar has gotten hold of a camera, and has take a very zoomed in photo of a boardgame box. Can you work out what the game is?
Hydrate, don't diedrate, have a good week, and I'll see you next time! 💜
