📰 Exec Roles Part 4!
It's our final round of meet the exec! A reminder that if you're thinking of running for a role, please send a message to the current exec in the position you intend to run for. This helps us keep track of making sure that the important roles get filled!
Lily - Collectible Card Games Rep
I'm Lily, current CCGs Rep. My duties include running Thursday CCGs, by setting up the room and helping teach any new players that show up. If you have any questions, please do reach out on Discord!
Sam - LARP Rep
Hiya again, I’m Sam, the LARP Rep. As LARP Rep, I run our weekly LARP sessions (which you should come to), work with the quartermaster to keep all our gear clean and safe to use, organise the end of year Kenilworth Castle session (so you should come to LARP for that) and run the murder mystery (which this year is week 7 Saturday, so come along!). As well as this, advertising LARP is an important responsibility. On top of these duties, and most importantly, you’re also the societies Health and Safety Officer, meaning you fill out our risk assessments and help keep people safe.

Jasper - Quartermaster
The Quartermaster role includes helping the LARP rep run the weekly LARP session, being responsible for the upkeep of the LARP equipment, and assisting with the LARP rep to manage the budget, as well as helping to run extra/alternative LARP events, including, but not limited to, the murder mystery.

That's right! We are murdering and mystery-ing! Sign-ups can be found here on our website! The event will run Saturday of week 7 (February 22nd), 1-4:30 in H0.03. If you would like to take part, please make sure you sign up so that our LARP Rep Sam can make sure everyone is getting all the info!
💸 Board Games Auction!
In some extra exciting news, we're looking to get rid of some Board Games! After the AGM (that's Wednesday Week 7 as a reminder) we will be holding a brief Board Games Auction, passing on some of our games. These games include:

💭 What happened last week? 💭
Last Week in LARP!!!
Rogue automata had been terrorising a Lupan village. Our party - Foxtrot, Bolster and Appius - had been hired to investigate, so they went down to the deeps. There, they found many mushrooms, cultists, imps, a thwurtle and other such deeps bullshit and cave bats. Eventually they ran into some automata who attempted to shoo them away like pests. They defeated the two and ventured further, finding a village full of automata who had found a new deity - the World Eater. They spoke with the repair-smith and the head priest, coming to a conclusion that was good (maybe), at least for Foxtrot, if for no one else.
Extra Bonus End Bit
Last week's feature from Maxine saw her hiding the game 'Colourbrain' so well done to anyone who got that correct! This week, Feldspar is back and has scrambled the name of a Pokemon. Can you figure out which one it is?
