I hope all your last weeks have gone well! I went to comic con on the weekend and a wedding so I was busy busy but it was a lot of fun!
It's show week for me this week (if you wanna see 1984 at the WAC get your tickets, I'm producing it and I promise it's great) so I'm super busy! But moving past my unapologetic marketing lets get into the newsletter shall we?

👻Halloweek👻
Halloween is this coming Friday so let's get the spooks on the road. This whole week we're trying to bring the spook of Halloween into our society!
Maybe try dressing up for your RPGs game in a spooky costume? Try a horror one shot in a system like dread or call of cathulu. Go play our spooky horror set at draft Duskmourn: House of Horror, or Betrayal: at house on Hill in Boardgames. What ever you do make sure too keep your wits about you!
🎲Tabletop Weekend 🎲
GUYSSS IT’S THIS WEEKEND! Get down to B2.02 this weekend any time between 10 am and 10pm for some good old games!
Be it classic boardgames or card games or LARP or Draft or maybe you wanna run a small improv RPG who knows. But it's happening and you better, I mean, it would be really awesome to see you all there!! So bring yourself, bring your friends, bring I don't know your favourite toy? And Play Games with us! (said in the way Jinu says it in KPDHs).
Also 🎲Game Jam 🎲 This Tabletop Weekend there will be a Game Jam! (There is a lot going on guys).
So what is a Game Jam?
- It is a drop in style collab with Game Design society where participants are encouraged to create their own board game/card game, etc over the weekend.
- You will follow a set theme, which will be revealed at the start of the event!
- Then you get to test out your games and try out other participant's games on Sunday.
- Finally, there will be an awards ceremony at the end to show off and judge the games made!
So come along to the Tabletop Weekend for this as well!!!

Guyssss we’re doing a society wide social in week 5 !!!!!
Come join us in Curiositea from 1-3pm on Wednesday before boardgames on the 5th of November for a bit of a chit-chat, a catch up or a coffee (or hot chocolate if you're like me and don’t like coffee)!!
It’ll be a chill drop in so pop buy whenever you can and come say hi!!!

💭 What happened last week? 💭
Last week in LARP
- Ashennnnn, the Postal Service Fell Apart Agaiiiiin: Our party was hired by the shurch of Ashen to take a letter from the city of Annd into the deeps to the temple on the shores of the Underground Sea there. As they trekked out of Annd, they ran into a group of mercenaries who challenged them to an imp hunting contest. The party took them up on that, and headed down underground into the deeps. There, the party ran into many imps and cultists, and many other strange things, including giant moles, deadly mushrooms, a three-person duel, those imp-hunting mercenaries, and even more imps. Eventually, the party found an Ashen automaton, which led them where they needed to go. Standing by the shore, waiting for them were the mercenaries, who revealed that they'd been after the party to stop them delivering the letter. The party fought the four of them and won, delivering the letter and its contents safely.
Last week in RPGs
- Cirque D'Aur: Episode 2: The Meat Cube - The Circus Monkeys helped the Circus packing up and joined the caravan drive to the village of Marven. Hector decided that he wasn't going to find his brother whilst rambling with the Circus so decided to go his separate way, prompting the party's ally Wallis the Knife Thrower to suggest an audition for new circus cast members! Meanwhile, the Circus Monkeys were busy introducing themselves to the locals - Cassandra trying to avoid being killed by the excited crowd ended up drawing the attention of the Goblin-Human barbarian duo Twig and Talien, who swiftly intervened and put paid to any sneakery, encouraging Cass to come and drink with them. Meanwhile, after an accidental collision Thorn made friends with Talia Lightmoor, bonding over a shared love of nondescript food and plentiful drink. The Circus Monkeys and their new friends made their ways to the nearest available pub, wherein they sat with Wallis and ate their fill of the delectable delicacies on offer - two Meat Cubes, one Pastry (Meat), two Pastries (Sugar) and two Big Pub Meals (Meat) - before retreating to their various caravans/crawling into bushes to sleep. The following morning, Carthollo announced the audition would take place, and both Twig and Talien and Talia decided to enroll! Alongside them were Jocasta the White, Samba Takai, and a mysterious bard named Sarith who gave to each of the auditioning adventurers a lucky bracelet! Twig and Talien and Talia impressed Carthollo easily, as did Jocasta, but when Sarith took the stage she revealed a darker intention - she had been sent to interfere with the Circus!! The bracelets she'd given out activated, and Jocasta fell under Sarith's control, using her clerical magic to create a magical shield around the assailing bard as she prepared to take on the Circus...
