Helloo!
To all that had one I hope you had a nice reading week and those that didn’t I hope you had a nice week anyway, no bad spirits here. From what I’ve heard the Riftbound collab with esports was very successful so that's always incredible to hear! Hope people enjoyed!
Now we get ready for our final stretch of term 1. Guys the first half of this term has gone too fast, like freshers week was yesterday right? It feels like it, but no. Anyway, if anyone knows Shakespeare (like personally) please tell him to make his monologues easier to learn, but for now on with what you actually opened the newsletter for!

🧠 Tabletop Quiz 🧠
Friday the 5th December in b2.02 from 6-8pm we will be holding our termly Quiz!!
Now while we may call it a tabletop quiz this can truly be on any topic. We’ve had rounds on video games , TV shows, action parks, Ikea tables, movies and more! So it is truly a guessing game most of the time, but in teams of 4 it is a lot of fun! And there will be prizes to be won.
Quiz is however one of our events that has a paid entry but it is only £1.50 per person (in cash) (to allow us to buy the winning team prizes)
🎲Tabletop Weekend 🎲
Guys guess what . Quiz is then followed by a whole weekend of games.
That’s right Tabletop Weekend, the event in the majority of my newsletters to date, gotta keep everyone informed.
It’s the 6th and 7th of December. In B2.02, from 10am to 10pm both Saturday and Sunday. I will keep mentioning it’s the weekend week 9 so be prepared. Put it in your diaries and be there!

- Cirque D'Aur: Episode 4: Legalese and Mayonnaise After the swift but decisive victory over Sarith, the Circus Monkeys faced an even greater challenge than any of them have ever faced before - proper jurisprudence in the face of employment! Presented with a more than 1,000 word legal document, Cassandra spent a good half hour poring over every single subclause, even as Vaelith, Gilgram and Thorne signed theirs on the spot. After a series of amendments which needed making concerning a rather alarming clause concerning a 'future boon' upon them leaving Carthollo's employ, the rest of the party signed their documents and became employed! Following on from a night of mayonnaise mayhem, the Circus Monkeys woke up the following morning to set up the circus. Cassandra however was woken with a vision of Blathers flying between the peaks of two mountains, between which was suspended a massive boulder, creating a gate in a mountain range. The various members set about their tasks - Thorne getting to work in the kitchen, Baern hard at work in the Forge, Vaelith assisting Amalei Van Der Bubeln, Gilgram and Talia on guard duty, Twig and Talien working at a strongman stall, and Cassandra introducing herself to the fortune teller Jigmy Whamchuck. As Jigmy gave her a crystal orb to use for scrying, they were suddenly overcome with a vision of their own, rapidly repeating "the tree beckons," but losing all memory of it afterwards. When Cassandra went on to scry for danger, she peered into her crystal orb but only saw visions of a figure made of shards of black and gold ceramic, bound with white adhesive, writhing in pain with crimson sparks bursting from their head. Gilgram, busy on patrol but more interested in any loose coins he could pick up, swiftly bumped into Loretta, suffering from a burning headache. Even thought he did his best to support her she rushed back to her caravan, faster than anybody was able to catch her except for her father Carthollo, who found her just as she collapsed to her bed, writhing in agony. He let out a roar audible across the Circus, masked for all except those who he knew could help - his trusty Circus Monkeys. They rushed to his aid, Baern with Remove Curse prepared, all arriving just in time for Cassandra to see that Loretta is the person she'd had a vision of, before Carthollo sent the party to work. Their goal: to free his daughter from the affliction plaguing her. The location: the Ethereal Plane, and more specifically a pocket of it devoted to Loretta's Mindscape. (Highlight by Eurydice)
- World of Pokémon! Our episode kicked off with a bang (literally and figuratively) as the party of young trainers fought Archer and his Rocket Grunts at the entrance to Mt. Moon. Some explosive friendly fire from Archer's Koffing and a couple karaoke tracks from Maisie's Jigglypuff gave our team the upper hand and they expelled Team Rocket without too much difficulty. Fuelled by the victory, Delto's Charmander evolved, the first of our trainers' Pokémon to do so since their adventure started! Curiously, they had much more trouble fighting the wild Machop deeper in the cave, one of whom absolutely rocked Tyren's Bulbasuar with a Mega Kick to score an OHKO. With a couple of these muscled marauders added to the team, our adventurers then decided to split up and further explore Mt. Moon, desperately searching for moon stones. Team A (Maisie and Delto) climbed upwards to the summit, finding a pristine moonlit pool surrounded by flowers, and a sweet smell drifted up a mountain trail, accompanied by low, rumbling snores. Maisie's Clefairy felt particularly connected to the pool, staying nearby while the two trainers investigated down the trail. Team B (Tyren and Darian) ventured down a ladder into the darkness, where they investigated some mysteriously Clefairy-shaped engravings on the cave floor. While their Pokémon were digging in the adjacent sand pit, a serendipitous moon beam revealed another young trainer hiding nearby! The girl introduced herself as Janine, explaining that Team Rocket had knocked out her Pokémon and she hid to stop them from being stolen. She agreed to join the party in their Gym Challenge, striving to prove her strength to her father Koga, the Fuchsia City Gym Leader. Back up top, the mountain path lead Team A to the den of a sleeping Snorlax, which was covered in berry husks and juice from its recent feast. The two trainers tried to stealth past, and were able to pick a good crop of berries from the bushes in Snorlax's den, however going in for more caused them to rouse the monstrous Pokémon with a roar. Thanks to a crit Mega Kick from Delto's new Machop, our adventurers did enough to convince the Snorlax that fighting probably wasn't the best idea, and it loped off into the bushes, allowing Team A to head back to the summit with their berry haul. Down in the caves, Team B decided to hunt for a wild Clefairy, quickly succeeding. With help from Janine, Darian scored a crit to convince the Clefairy to help them with the puzzle. Upon their return to the pool at the top of Mt. Moon, Maisie and Delto were just in time to witness a host of Clefairy, Cleffa and Clefable dancing in the moonlight, chirping together in glee. At the same moment, the sand pit below was illuminated by the glow of the moon, and the Clefairy there danced like its friends above, tracing the shape of the moon in the sand. The sand pit was drained, revealing treasures beneath, while the Pokémon around the pool left Maisie's Clefairy a moon stone to give back to her trainer. After that spectacle, the party reunited in the cave and made their way to the exit, Tyren stopping briefly to buy two fossils from a friendly palaeontologist along the way. Emerging from Mt. Moon in the early light of dawn, our adventurers beelined to the Cerulean City Pokécentre for some well earned rest. (highlight by Flo)

Congrats if you said Alpha Legion that is the correct answer! Fun Fact: The Violators and Sons of Malice are both renegade space marine chapters, and the Corsairs are a Pirate Force made of various Space Marine deserters. A bit of lore I came across in my ventures of trying to find questions. This week did Sneak sneak into a LARP event or are they all seeing?
Sneaks question for this week is:
In week one LARP what event took place?
-
A. Players went to weapon con
-
B. The party made a deal with witches
-
C. The party was hired to deliver a letter
-
D. The party got captured and taken in as prisoners
Again keep engaging with the questions I enjoy it very much reading peoples answers!
