Guysss this is my penultimate newsletter!!!! There’s only one more I ever get to write. This is kinda sad but I’ll save the soppy stuff for next week. Anyway we got through our crazy busy last two weekends of endless events but that's not to say there aren't more events to come this week check out announcements to find out!

🧠Tabletop Quiz 🧠
Guyssss it’s this Fridayyy!! Come along to our end of term 2 Quiz where in teams of 4’s you’ll test your knowledge on multiple quiz rounds! I’ve got no idea what they are on this term so I guess you and I will have to go along to find out.
Reminder: it’s this is Friday 13th March from 6-8pm in B2.02.
Entry will be £1.50 per person. (cause there is prizes for the winning team)

💭 What happened last week? 💭
Last week in LARP
- Fish People Diplomacy: Many weeks ago, High Constable of many titles, Andromalius Blackthorn, discovered a species of fish people working as part of a smuggling ring. In the time since then, he has been researching, learning, and putting together his party to venture down into the ocean and see what could be done. Together him, Cornelius Jack, Finn, and Beatrice Dauphine went out into the ocean to go to the smuggler's base of operations, a tiny island in the middle of nowhere. They were boarded (briefly) by pirates, but fought them off with ease, commandeering the pirate's larger ship with little difficulty. Sailing further into the blue, they were attacked by seagulls, witnessed an interesting argument between a spirit of driftwood and an (alleged) bridge spirit and sailed past a plague ship. Before they reached the island, they had the realisation that they had maybe possibly forgotten to take down the pirate flags, which was brought about when they were shot at and boarded by Ostport Pirate Hunters. They won the fight, and quickly took down the flags right after. Soon, they reached the island. They anchored a ways off shore, and dropped into the sea, trusting their water protection potions to guard them against the crushing pressure and lack of air while they went to the island. In this first stint underwater, they fought giant pistol shrimps, and the monstrous corpses of those who had drowned, whose bodies had been given new life by the Deeps. They surfaced on an island, empty except for two structures and a parrot. They went into the one proper building, seeing a trapdoor. After activating the trap, they climbed down the ladder into the water below. Deep underground, they encountered a group of fish people surrounded by, presumably stolen, chests. During a long stand-off, Andromalius explained who they were, and got them to agree to bring the party to their leader, whom they referred to as just The Captain. In the journey down, Beatrice and Andromalius were made to give up their weapons, until the group were attacked by sharks. The party helped fight them off, though Andromalius returned his weapon to the fish people after, as a sign of trust. In return for listening ot hteir demands, the Captain sent the party to kill a monster they described as grasping and hungry, that had killed many of the people in his clade. One of the smugglers spoke up, insisting to the Captain that the party had saved their lives, and asking if it was a good idea. Nevertheless, the party were sent on their way. Underwater, they met more fish people, including one who claimed to be a follower of Krom, a vicious-seeming Shark spirit if some kind. They fought a big crab, as well as a monster that seemed to try and force their attention, before walking into a dark, seemingly empty cavern. The ground below them rumbled, and opened, to reveal an eye, softly glowing, and illuminating a multitude of grasping tentacles. The fight was tough but with their skill, they won comfortably. Returning to the Captain, their requests to remain out of the affairs of the surface, in return for supplies and similar such things, were honoured, and a contract was drafted, with further talks to be arranged with Andromalius and Beatrice.
