- Be me.
- Happily arrive back at Warwick on Sunday evening with all my things to unpack.
- Receive a message from the ex-comms officer and current secretary about the newsletter you need to write for tomorrow that you thought was for next weekend.
- Realise you've forgotten your login for the tabletop website over easter and frantically try to remember it until you give up and reset the password.
- Panic, throw your things in a cupboard and pretend they're packed while you frantically bash your keyboard hoping anything you write is mildly amusing or informative.

Megagame?
The 'Watch The Skies' megagame (Hopefully running on the 20th as planned although this is still under review) will be an awesome opportunity for a celebratory game towards the end of exam season, although by the looks of the rules it may be more stressful than the lack of the exam timetable in recent weeks. I've been told there are still roughly ten tickets up for sale so if you want to be involved in what should be a lot of fun for a heavily reduced price, please purchase yourself a ticket from the SU page. If you're interested in the game or have already bought a ticket, but can't make the date due to exams, please let us know ASAP. Those of you that have already signed up: please check your emails or the Discord in the next few days for new details on the event.
Society Merch!
Hoodies are still available in Joseph's range of dreamcoat colours (not including exec purple) until midnight on May 5th. They're super comfy and, in my opinion, well worth the small price of £21.30. They are available for purchase from the SU page. Make sure you read next week's issue on potential pride related merchandise, alongside statuettes, coming to the store soon. You'll also soon see our exec members, past and present, wearing brand new badges that are being made by our partner, Pocket Workshop.
New Games?
X-Wing 2 and a Quacks expansion have been brought up recently among the exec and may hopefully grace the society some time this term, although I cannot confirm any of this strongly as we are still awaiting replies from Zatu. Hopefully more on this in the coming weeks.

What happened over the Easter break?
Over easter the society ran our PG boardgames event at the Dirty Duck. As an undergraduate I obviously didn't go myself but I've been told by Ares it was "Big Fun". This event also included a tabletop form of golf which looked like a good time had by all. Ares proved to be victorious over the 5 holes with an impressive score of 19 although competition seemed close as Finnbar came second with a score of 20! Pictures of the event can be seen at the end of the newsletter.
So that's it from me I HOPE this week, hopefully this wasn't as dull as ditchwater for those of you that did read, and if you did have a read I thank you for taking the time to read my first newsletter as your new communications officer. Looking forward to writing more of these in the future. I wish you all a very successful final term, remember to come along to a society event for some time off every now and then.
Much Love,
Luke Scriven (Communications Officer)
