Heya my sentient bee swarm, how's everyone doing? I hope you're not done with term 3 quite yet because we still have a lot of things on the menu!! Megagame tickets are out :D and more about that to come... I hope everyone enjoyed tabletop extravaganza as well, I drafted and also tried vintage cube for the first time! Truly some horrifying cards

🌌 Megagame 🌌
Penultimate reminder that Megagame is happening week 9!!
🗓️Sunday 28th June 🕒10-6pm in 🗺️Westwood Teaching
Remember to purchase your tickets to take part!! (£1.50 for members, and £2.50 for non-members)
So what is Megagame? It's a huge tabletop game combining parts of all our society factions where you work with other players to succeed! This years game is Project Crypsis (oooo), you'll be assigned roles within a cooperation fighting over technology in a cyberpunk city setting :0
There will be pizza provided for lunch but we recommend to bring your own lunch (in the case it runs out) and water!
After you've purchased the ticket, please contact one of the exec organisers (Skye, President; Adam, Treasurer/Wargs Rep or Alex, RPGs Rep) who will give you access to the event discord server. There, you will be assigned a role to determine your part for the day.

As you may know, Sunday is your regularly scheduled LARP but THIS weekend it's at Kenilworth Castle!!
Come along on the 21st Sunday Week 8 12(ish)-5pm and join in with the session run by Matthew!
Either meet your buddies at the castle or at meet on campus before 12:15am in B2.02 to take the bus there :))

💭 What happened last week? 💭
Last week in LARP
The boy bandits return!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and some other stuff I guess)
Cornelius Jack had managed to find some clues as to where the shark which ate his arm could be found and so he brought the reverend doctor Nightscream, Andromalius Blackthorn and Aerys along with him to hunt it and retrieve his arm.
As the party began their journey they bumped into STABBA (formerly the boy bandits) who serenaded them with a song which included numerous demands to be given money. In part due to being under the effects of suggestion the party tipped the performers before continuing.
As they made their way towards the coast the party met up with a hunter from shark clan who knew of where they might be able to find their quarry. They took the party to the cove where they had left their ship however, the party had to fight off some ghouls before who had also made their way into the cove. After being told that the shark only attacked on the full moon and was most frequently seen near a particular island the party set sail to track it down.
After reaching the island the party spotted a column of smoke coming from a small building. When they reached it they found it abandoned with its occupant having left in a rush a few hours earlier. They also found what appeared to be a shrine to Ashen however, a book which accompanied it made references to a being known as Kron as well as a great many things Ashenites would consider heresy.
Following some footsteps from the back door of the house the party found they went directly into the ocean. Using the potions of water breathing they had previously acquired the party dove underwater to find their quarry. Whilst diving deeper they found numerous scenes of carnage where the shark had ripped apart various fish people and whales. Finally, they came upon a trench in the sea where they found the great shark. After a lengthy battle where the party were being pushed around by sea currents whilst being bitten by the shark the party managed to land the killing blow. Retrieving his arm from the stomach of the shark Cornelius Jack was informed by Nightscream that it was likely beyond saving. The party then took the corpse of the shark to the surface where it transformed into the body of a young woman as the full moon set. After Andromalius confirmed she felt no guilt for what she had done the party left the island to return home.
