Hello again! Hope exams are going well for you all and the stress isn't getting too much. Not a whole lot of announcing to be done this week, mainly just a number of short points, most likely a quick 60 seconds to read though if you did want updates on what's going on.
Announcements
Exciting News!
The society has been nominated for the 'Best Society Award' at this years SU society awards! Fingers crossed we can bring it home! The results of this will be announced at this year's society awards on the 20th of June.
WH40k Apocalypse
There's a 'Warhammer 40k Apocalypse' event coming up for you guys to participate in for those of you interested. If you did want to attend please just fill in the quick doodle to indicate your availability.
GM Workshops
Some of you may remember at the AGM Jon mentioned he was up for running a workshop at the end of this term for prospective GMs/those interested in trying it out. Maybe you have an aspect you could use some advice on? Or are interested in lending your expertise to others? The content of this workshop is flexible and Jon has produced a poll you can access here where you can vote for what you'd like to be covered.
End of Term Events
More details will hopefully be flying there way into my grubby hands to shove into this newsletter next week on things such as the term 3 quiz and our boardgames extravaganza. Stay tuned for more on this in the next newsletter hopefully.
Website Newsletter Subscriptions
If you, like me, DESPISE (WITH AN ETERNAL PASSION THAT CANNOT BE EXTINGUISHED NOT MATTER HOW MUCH THE SU PAY ME), the current newsletter delivery system, as mentioned last week you are now able to manage where you receive this newsletter. If you do prefer the website version, simply push notifications for this version on and turn off email notifications (and end my eternal suffering that is the SU messaging system). If you want to continue receiving this newsletter by email, please log into the website, go to Notification Settings and select 'Full Email' for the newsletters option.
Draft
The draft schedule for the second half of term is now out and can be seen here. You must sign up to the special drafts if you want to take part in them, they can be found here.
UK Games Expo
Callum (our presidential overlord) is potentially planning a society group 'trip', sadly not on the magic school bus, to the UK Games Expo next weekend. If you did want in on this, please get in touch with Callum and let him know you're interested.
Badges
Badges should be available for collection this week, keep an eye on Facebook/Discord for more on this.
Exec Meeting
Minutes from this week can be found here.

- Board Games - Wednesday 2-10pm, B2.01

News from last week!
Nothing... ummmmmmmm. Yeh literally nothing I'm aware of, how very exciting. I'm guessing you, like me, are holed up by some desk frantically bashing a textbook against your head hoping words go in? PSA: don't do this, it doesn't work.
So yeah, that's literally it this week. Once again keep up the hard work with the studying and best of luck in the exams to come!
Much Love,
Luke Scriven (Communications Officer)
