After the events of the previous week, the werewolf, now back in human form, agrees to join your party. Now that you have gained experience at the tavern it's time to venture out, for more challenging ventures and games.
You've heard rustlings of some 'gathering of magic' in an alternate plane known as Ravnica and a local mage with successful runic system linking your plane with that of Ravnica has offered you passage. In return, the mage requests that you return with a 'Black Lotus'. You have no idea of what this is but assume that you will gain this knowledge while there.
Announcements
New Games!!!
Just to announce that we now own 4 new games for our weekly board games event: Point Salad, El Dorado, Pipeline and Tiny Towns. Check out Zatu's Site, our sponsor and go-to shop for all our games.
Trans Awareness Week
Next week (week 7) is Trans Awareness Week; a week when transgender people and their allies take action to bring attention to the community by educating the public about who transgender people are, sharing stories and experiences, and advancing advocacy around the issues of prejudice, discrimination, and violence that affect the transgender community. In support of this, we will be doing bake sale during Wednesday's board games event, with more details next week. Please come along to support this great cause!
Board Games Weekend (An Early Reminder)
If you really enjoyed yourself at our weekend event last weekend then why not do it all over again? In the weekend of week 9 (November 30th - December 1st) we will be hosting another weekender. Just a very early reminder for this so you can obviously reserve that weekend in your diaries!
Warhammer Apocalypse
We're beginning to think about this term's Apocalypse event. The currently proposed dates are November 30th, December 1st (both during BGs weekend), December 7th and December 8th. To let us know when is best for you, please fill in this doodle. For those of you not sure as to what Apocalypse is, Apocalypse is a game of cataclysmic warfare set in the 40K universe, that sees vast armies battling against one another on a grand scale. For those of you looking for something Warhammer-esque but with a little more oomph, this could be the event for you.

Obviously last week was Hallo-Week, involving such events as the not-so-spooky Boo-ard games, the spooky Chaos draft, featuring flawless cosplay from Jakub, see the gallery (Credit to Finnbar), and of course the escape room, which is literally happening as I write this so can't tell you much on that until next week. Hopefully by then I'll be able to announce fastest teams and have some photos to share with you all.
Whether you came to the society events or not, I hope you all had an enjoyable Halloween. Thank you for taking the time to read my newsletter, until next week!
Much Love,
