Tabletop Radio 2022

Tabletop Radio Stream Banner

Thursday 30th June and Friday 1st July, 9:30am-9:30pm Both Days

What is it?

For the past couple of years, our in person fundraising events have suffered greatly from the fact we can't carry out events in person. This is why we introduced Tabletop Radio, an online stream where we could raise funds for LGBTQUIA+ charities even if we couldn't all meet up in person.

This year, we have been able to get back to doing in person events. However, Tabletop Radio has been such a success, with 2021 raising over £2000 for Mermaids, that we're back at it for a third year in a row. This time with additional in person shenanigans!

The charity that was decided by the community poll this time around was GALOP - a charity that was formed around supporting LGBTQIA+ victims of various kinds of abuse. They have helplines, online forums and other support services for lots of things including domestic abuse and conversion therapy, and are looking for your money to help support that.

We'll have a full on schedule of segments from all over the tabletop games and roleplaying space - and a little bit adjacent to it - so there will be plenty to watch, join in with and donate money for. So head on over to our Twitch page and join us!

Also, if you are a company interested in sponsoring this event, have a look at our Tabletop Radio sponsorship details page.

7.30pm - 9.00pm Music Finnbar's musical exploits have done such a good job raising money in previous years that this time we've managed to devote a whole segment to them, and have a whole band to perform your musical requests. If you want to request something to be played, you can donate.
9.00pm - 9.30pm The Closening: our final goodbyes and thank yous to everyone who has watched and donated! We might get emotional, although we'll mainly be sleepy.

Stretch Goals

We have a few bonus activities that will happen during and after the stream if enough money is donated!

£150 Ben suffers due to food On a bonus stream, we will fill a half-hour segment by making Ben eat a variety of weird sweet food and rank them best to worst.
£300 Scarlett's Makeup Stream Scarlett will spend a 30 minute interlude doing her makeup on stream. We've done this before and we still don't know how it works in 30 mins.
£450 Minecraft Bingo Stream We'll play Minecraft Bingo on a bonus stream. Perhaps we'll play lockouts too.
£600 Ben's City of Mist One-Shot We were going to have Ben run City of Mist during the stream, but he unfortunately couldn't make it. However, this means that we can instead run it on a special bonus stream!
£800 Genuine TEDTalks In addition to the Karaoke talks during the stream, we will have a bonus stream where people write talks about things they are genuinely passionate about. What a novel idea!
£1000 (!!!) Taskmaster We will emulate a single episode of the TV show Taskmaster, with a cast of contestants doing some silly tasks and looking silly while doing it!
