Morton Graves

Morton spent most of his early life as a village healer, but his skills were not up to a period of upheaval where the cultists of the Deeps roamed the Surface.

Following the death of his family and friends, and the destruction of his home Morton set off, to try to make the world a better place. He offered his services as a doctor to wandering travellers.

As he travelled he also began to spread the idea of healers working together for the good of the world, of a new day greater than this day. This idea and those he trained formed the basis of what would be the Vitalists.

Still Morton did not last long as a public figure after the foundation of the Vitalists. After this the stories become more absurd, the later depictions of Morton have him as a Winged being, soaring across the Mountains.

Some cultists have claimed that Morton was a lesser god, of healing of change. The vitalists for all they respect the man reject these claims, although they believe he is still alive out there.

Still for all the speculation about his end, it is clear Morton Graves changed the world.
