In Splendor, you all play gem merchants trying to buy gem cards with your assortment of gems, thus allowing you to buy bigger and better gem cards until some nobles come and say "oh those are some really cool gems" and help you win. You've gotta build your economy quickly to beat the other players and get to fifteen points first!
There are five main colours of gem in Splendor: red, green, blue, white and brown. Everyone else thinks that the final colour is black, but I'm writing this description so they can get dunked on.
