I am looking to run the Edge of the Empire beginner game at somepoint as a one shot!
Welcome all players, new to RPGs or the EOTE system and old hats alike.
Edge of the Empire is an RPG system based on the Star Wars Universe set in the outer rim of the galaxy before the time of the rebellion.
The starting adventure itself starts in a settlement called Mos Shutta found on the 2 sunned planet of Tatooine, you have run afoul of the local crime boss, Teemo the Hutt and must try and make your way back to your trusty, if not a bit run down, ship the Krayt Fang. Although it's not going to be easy...
If you like the star wars setting or slightly more thematic combat than number crunching, EOTE is a great system to play and it is one of my favourites.
As for me, I have DMed a number of different D&D 5e games, Eote games and a number of other systems over my 3 years of playing RPGs. I have also created my own version of a skyrim (D&D 5e) ruleset and my own D&D 5e Class, the Runekeeper.
The session will include character creation and introduction at the start so no need to prep for that, although having ideas for a character and how the system plays can only help improve the game. No need to bring dice unless you have a custom set for the Star Wars RPG as they are all we need. I have pencils but if you could bring your own that would be great!
Once I have found out the place and time I will keep you updated as well as any changes that might be made.
