Recurring NPCs

While you can talk to any NPC on the forums by messaging me, the most likely to have relevant information are listed below. As more people are encountered, I will expand this list.

Eric Valkia

Arbiter void mage investigating the new Cat population in the Artes-nel mountains. Has a familiarity with magic items, particularly for the purpose of storing and retrieving fragments and constructs.
Item: red scarf (sometimes).
Known Goals: Understanding creatures, perfecting his magic storage sufficiently to build a zoo.

Henri Simnel

An enterprising young inventor in Aestas. Known for his black-powder innovations that has allowed for quicker reloading of pistols. He's currently spending his time messing around with magical items and spirits, to ends known only to himself. He talks often about how "the world wants us to advance, we just need to let it take us".
Item: Top-hat.
Known Goals: The technological progression of Aestas.

The Mysterious Magic Mask Salesman, Jack

He's been picking up these masks for a while, although many of them have found their way into the hands of not only Aestas, but the southern cities. He seems to always have some sort of issue with the mask he is trying to sell, they appear to affect him much more than they do other people.
Item: masks galore.
Known Goals: Unknown.

The Spirit Guide

Resident of Mortonas, she is dramatically obsessed with the phenomenon of Spirits. The person to talk to about spirits in the southlands, and likely the history of the Southlands as well.
Item: Flowing locks of hair, tacky jewellery.
Known Goals: Protection of Spirits.

Frederick

An expert in the matter of Golems of Skoi. He has a golem workshop in a Skoi settlement not too far from the surface. He is also a motion mage.
Item: Currently his golem workshop, which no one has seen him leave.
Known Goals: Collection and reactivation of golems of Skoi.

Lydia Underfoot - True Fire Mage and Champion of Skoi

Lydia helped Captain Phoebus and Co. purify the Fire totem. She then fought the Knight of Flowers, a champion of Skoi and defeated him. She now wields the sword of flowers.

The Council of Aestas:

Treasurer - Councillor Note.

He is responsible for trade with the southlands, and has the un-enviable job of attempting to tax trade within the city. He is also in charge of infrastructure projects in the city. Aestas trades mainly in agriculture and forestry, in exchange for raw materials from the south.

Defence - Commander Robert.

He is responsible for the activities of the Wardens of Aestas.

Agriculture - Councillor Ferme.

She is responsible for the farms around Aestas, which are typically operated by golems. She is the closest thing to regulation as far as industry goes in Aestas, but that isn't saying a lot - tycoons like Henri Simnel have a lot of power in the city.

Matters of justice are typically presided by all 3 members of the council.
