In a wartorn kingdom, a landslide has uncovered an ancient crypt. When the people of the nearby village of Crusthelm discover the entrance, you are among the first to find out. It won’t be long before the local Baron hears of it. Will you seize the opportunity?

Hi!
My name’s Paul, I’m very new to Warwick, but not very new at all to RPG’s. Usually, I run dark, character-driven adventures set in modern urban settings. This time, it’s gonna be my favorite fantasy dungeon. I won't spoil anything, and focus on formalities from here on out.

Beginners are very welcome! Experienced players are just as welcome, of course.

I’ve marked this as a one-shot. If we have fun, I may propose to turn it into a small campaign. If you already know you’re just in it for the one-shot, that’s fine too!

One more thing: You’re not going to play legendary heroes. You’re just people, trying to make a living. Death is scary, and a very real threat. I want to encourage you to engage with that, allow your characters to be imperfect, be scared, and let them grow.

The System
We’ll make characters on the day, you’ll figure it out quickly.
If you do want to check it out, you can find it here. Works a lot like D&D, but significantly slimmer and significantly more lethal.

What you may want to bring
A standard set of dice, especially a D20. If you don’t have any, you’ll borrow mine, don’t worry.
Pen&Paper. To take notes, and fill out your character sheet.
Something to drink, something to eat. I’m expecting us to play about 4-6 hours.

Content Notes
At it’s core, this is a story about people venturing into a very dangerous place.
There may be violence, danger, injury, death, coercion, betrayal, exploitation, cruel feudal power structures, and morally ambiguous decisions.
You will always be abe to signal me to stop the game, if need be.
