City of Mist (based on Powered By The Apocalypse)

Hello one and all! After the (surprising) success of my intro one shot and my (questionably) successful integration into the Warwick lifestyle, I've found some time to run a full campaign set in the City of Mist!. So, I've decided to run Nights of Payne Town, the full campaign arc published by Son of Oak Studios.

It is a time of turmoil in the City. The police are helpless against a new wave of crime, powered by forces they neither see nor understand. Ancient legends that were scheming in the shadows for…

Adventures in Lunaria, a D&D 5e beginner campaign
TBD TBD, likely campus or nearby

Lunaria is both an archipelago and an empire. From the capital of Halsen the various islands of the realm are ruled over. Each has their own culture and economy, which are constantly under threat from their neighbours in their struggle to supply all that is needed to run such a massive empire. This is a realm where vast distances separate cultures united only by rulers and religion and many still look for a place to call home.

This is a D&D campaign intended for beginners who wish to have their first t…

RPG faction meeting test run
Sunday 10th, 12-5pm H0.56

rpgrwbyutrpgrpgs faction meetup

RPG Design & Discussion

So I'm going to be occupying H0.56 from 12-5pm this Sunday to help the LARPers and given that I had no plans aside from perhaps 'do some reading' for that slot of time, I figured I'd try out one of my (and Sol's) ideas of having a faction meeting! If it goes well, I'll try to run it again (work permitting, finalist life)

Basically I'm going to create an event on the website to make sure we don't get too many people, but for a period of drop-in time you can come to H0.56 and discuss game design, GMing, and …

A Heist by Moonlight
Sat 16th or 23rd TBD

In the city of Doskvol, everyone’s a criminal. Corrupt police, drug peddlers, violent mobs. And, most importantly, daring thieves. People who say, “Go on, one last job” twice a week, or those who are new to the game and eager to prove themselves, or those who do it to support their families, or because it’s too easy not to, or because it’s downright good fun. The list goes on and on. And here you are. Thrust into the underworld of a Victorian-esque city teeming with spirits and ghosts, tasked with stealing…

THE NO LONGER A MYSTERY ONE PAGE RPG
Saturday 2nd October 12-6pm, although will probably end earlier H2.44, how mysterious

Hey, the system has been decided! It is REDSHIRTS AND RHYME SCHEMES, the system we designed on stream on Friday!

You are all redshirts who will build a spaceship quickly through the medium of poetry, and then will explore the galaxy in ways decided by the included Scenario Ideas table. It'll be very silly. Its rules fit a double sided A4 page, and a fair chunk of that is tables to give you ideas rather than actual rules. Don't feel like you need any RPG experience to sign up!

I've left the old announce bel…

2nd October, 12-6pm (may be shorter depending on how things go) Online - Roll20 + Discord

It’s been a great day. No work, no fighting, just relaxing on the beach with friends. A rare occurrence in the life of an adventurer! But all good things must come to an end and as the evening draws near you begin to pack up your picnic leftovers. You relish the last warm rays of the setting sun as you make your way up the beach. Time to find someplace to stay for the night. Earlier in the day, a lighthouse in the distance caught your eye. The keeper will surely allow you to stay for the night. After all, …

Tales from the Loop - Intro RPGs
12-6pm Saturday the 2nd of October H1.03

“The landscape was full of machines and scrap metal connected to the
facility in one way or another. Always present on the horizon were
the colossal cooling towers of the Bona Reactor, with their green obstruction
lights. If you put your ear to the ground, you could hear the
heartbeat of the Loop – the purring of the Gravitron, the central piece
of engineering magic that was the focus of the Loop’s experiments.”

Tales from the Loop, a game based on the TV show by the same name, is an RPG where you play a g…
