• Implemented reCaptcha on the signup page to mitigate spam.

EDIT: Signups were broken, should probably work now. Known issue: Failing the captcha gives an ugly 500 Server Error rather than a useful error message.

Bug fixes!

• Blank/empty tags no longer cause your Event not to show.
• You now receive a notification for posts in a thread you have created, but not replied to.

Lots of behind the scene changes:

• Migrated the database to an actual database: should have sped up the website a fair bit.
• Cleaned up the newsletter format to render correctly on more devices and make it smaller.
• Dynamic timetable rather than images. Allows screen readers to have an idea what were are on about, as well as make changes far more easily.
• Updated the markdown editor to fix some bugs. Many more are left, but I can't really find anything much better to replace it.
• Several length limits are now actually enforced.
• Code cleanup changes galore (yay! auto code-style tools).

Added some new website features

• New Inventory tracking features that now home the board game collection as well as LARP kit (and more to come). This has functionality to allow suggestions for your favourite games.
• Email Notifications!!! You can now change your notification subscriptions to automatically get emailed for notifications of your choice.
• Subscription preferences: don't want to be told about messages or newsletters? think that the red icon is too tacky for your monochrome life? Now each type of notification can be controlled individually thorough your subscription preferences.
• New event notification. Now you can be alerted to each new RPG opportunity or draft so you are never left behind
• Collapsible elements should now remember their state as you navigate the site
• Exec can now upload files easier

Bug fixes

• Fixed some of the many quirks in the sign up process
• Paginated events
• Actually fixed sending emails
• SEO (Google should find us more reliably)
• Fixed the calender subscribe button to show all of the calenders we offer
• Made the tag format more clear in the Event creation form
• Added an icon to the website for browser tabs or on iOS home screen (if anyone has put us there?)
• Performance improvements for the Events tab
• Show discord details on profile

• Added ability to link to rooms in the schedule
• Fixed pagination with active filters removing filters (and thus causing 404 errors)
• Fixed sorting bug with calendar subscription list

Behind the scene changes, and a tweak.

• Updates to the admin interfaces: spam-bots beware!
• Gallery now sorts in opposite order to keep new stuff near the top.
• Staticly defined links to the website GitHub updated to reflect the new (hopefully permanent) home.

• Now have a specific way of displaying your pronouns on your website profile. Please normalise this behaviour by filling out this field, even if you don't personally experience their misuse.

Some behind the scenes stuff, and forum changes

• Added forum thread locking
• Changed forum thread notification
  • You can now unsubscribe from a thread using the button in the sidebar
  • You can now subscribe to a thread without having to participate now using the same button
• Special events are now automated: no more stale events on the home page!
• Fixed event images flowing outside event

A few tweaks.

• Images included in forum and events now have a default width. This should stop them taking up quite so much space.
• Images no longer appear in the summary view of events from the list. They should continue to appear as normal on the full description of the event.
• Special events can now link directly to an event.

A few new tweaks.

• Update to the markdown editor to reduce the funkiness.
  • Some funkiness may remain, please let me know when found
• Inventories now have search features
• Forum posts now have a direct link button for linking to responses
