My name is James and I shall be your dungeon master. I am looking for about 3/4 people to join a new D&D campaign which I hope will run either weekly or every fortnight (once we get up and running). Previous experience with D&D 5e is preferred although not essential.
This campaign will take place in my own homebrew world of Aeldoria and our tale shall begin in the Duchy of Egreria located at the south end of the Free Planes of Pardinia. A little over fifteen years ago, Duke Irihan Glascor was usurped by his vassal, Valerius the Butcher. The old duke was killed and his court scattered. Since then, the duchy has lived under repression and fear with any act of defiance over their self-proclaimed ruler dealt with, harshly... It is in this environment that you and your companions will find yourselves. Will you leave the duchy to its fate or will you rise up in the name of the old duke (or, for that matter, yourselves)?
I like to run quite a politically complex campaign so if you are a proficient note-taker, this is the campaign for you. That being said, we will have our fair share of monster slashing and survival sessions so there is something for everyone here.
