Reminders and Updates

  1. Game Design Collab is this weekend! It’s basically all prepped, except I can’t be there from about 2:30 until 8ish on Saturday. (But I expect there’ll be GD exec on hand for then.) Please push promo!
  2. Murder Mystery is next Wednesday! Jakub sounds totally ready. Please fill in the form by today if you're still interested in taking part.
  3. Serious boardgames emailed us! They're gonna promote us in their magazine and in their seminars. They're gonna advertise that people go to our Week 7 board games session, I'll be there to help them learn games.

1. Physics Wellbeing Event

We’re running a board games event with Physics PGSSLC! It’s Friday Week 7, 3:30-7pm in the Physics Common Room. Things to note:

  • Ares, double check when B2.02 is free to get games, get some Physicists to do the heavy lifting.
  • Food is being provided, as well as the £10 fee.
  • There’s a Google form, if you wanna come do the form - it’s food numbers, and food numbers are good.

2. Quiz

The quiz is Friday Week 9 - I'm organising it!

Callum will be buying prizes. Usual budget, £10 a prize with four prizes - please suggest them in #quiz! Could purchase a miniatures set from PW, I’ll talk to Alex. Could try and get board games (the Callum ones) alongside to save on delivery, please investigate.

Please get your rounds to me by Sunday Week 8, so I can check over them! Except I don't need to check Luke's by then because it's meant to be chaotic, so he can send it up until the morning of the quiz.

3. Constitution Changing Motions

Within exec, two Constitution-changing motions are being considered:

  • Change remit of Comms to include events, and thus rename to something more representative (and cooler)
  • Rename Secretary to Vice President, to better reflect their role

These will appear on the website soon, but their full text is on the slides.
