  • Any update on B2.01 locks? (Jon)
    • 2 weeks ago, answer was 1 week. Any time now, hopefully? Estates people are around and aware.
• Socs Showcase Fair Thing
  • Chih-Hsiang has been wrangling societies for a festival-type event - during the day on Week 9 Saturday, Socs will get 3-4 hour slots
  • I emailed with our interest to do a board game type event, Alex was very enthusiastic about running this
  • Which works perfectly as we don’t have TT weekend until 7pm due to shenanigans (Open Day)
  • We’ll hear back soonish, when Chih-Hsiang is finished wrangling

🕐 1. Quiz

• Week 9 Friday, 6-9pm, OC1.06
• Ares + Finnbar hosting

Round rules (because last time was chaos):

• Your round must be easily scorable out of 10 (no silly decimals)
• No bonus points
• Your round must take no longer than 15 mins (+5 mins answers)!!! to run
• Nothing that involves paragraphs of text
• Must be made on Google Slides (and check that it works properly)
• Must have question slides, then a break slide, then answer slides
• You must seriously think about how difficult your questions are, especially for someone with no knowledge of the subject (multiple choice is your friend)
• (These rules do not apply to the bonus round)

🕑 2. AGM

• One week from sign-ups for voting!
• Any new sign-ups? Reminder to all exec who are standing for re-election to do your manifestos too!
  • Nothing new since last meeting :(
• Publicising + Advertising- Up on slides, mentioned in newsletter, probably a discord announce closer to the time?
  • Discord and FB announces done, email going out later today
• Handover document: Ares- Update on this, who needs poking?
  • CCGs - Scarlett

  • Welfare - Scarlett
  • After those bits are done it can be published, then another version can be published after the AGM or end of Term 3 with further updates to close out the academic year (post-AGM, post Tabletop Radio)

🕒 3. Facebook Stuff

• Facebook groups- low interaction, what do we want to do?
  • Doesn’t really seem worth it, latest activity was during welcome week, even that was double posting. Concerns: make it more difficult for ex-members. 🏃‍♂️ Groups can be deleted in the future, and signpost towards Discord instead
• “Facebook” -> “Social media” change to constitution?
  • 🏃‍♂️ Fern will write this

🕒 4. Big Game

• With Warhammer Quest Traps sold, Board Games has some extra money!
  • Poll to determine what’s gonna be bought, suggestions welcome. Waiting on nominations for what to buy.

1. LARP Stuff (Nathan/James)
   1. Finish roles for Murder Mystery
   2. Coordinate ideas for sniper LARP- review and direct ideas in the Google Doc, work out how this can feasibly be run (identifying players, any permissions we need, etc.)
2. Deck Boxes (Ares)
   1. Source a new deck box for CCGs
3. Quiz (Round runners)
   1. Write your rounds! Send them to Ares! Make sure they follow the rules!
4. Facebook (Fern)
   1. Write a change to the constitution changing mentions of “Facebook” to “Social Media”
   2. Delete Facebook groups, with emphasis on shifting focus towards Discord.
5. AGM (All candidates)
   1. Write up manifestos.
6. Warhammer Renovation (Lewis/Jon)
   1. Discuss and decide whether we want to go ahead with that, get in touch with Reylynn to ascertain an exact price.
7. Sci-fi/Fantasy Collab (Anakin)
   1. Get in touch and sort out details.
   2. Put an announce up on Discord.
