Progress here required finalising the schedule - working out where to put the final 15 minutes of interlude so we had something presentable, and checking some slight changes to when Mao and TEDtalks where with the runners, as well as checking in with people about what we need in the way of graphics for Ed to sort - a stream overlay, schedule and stretch goal graphics, a website page, a main promo piece, and contacting GALOP to confirm the method of crowdfunding and their tiltify page.
Finalising this depneds on the schedule finalised, because the plan was to advertise players once we had the schedule up. Plans for advertising in newsletter and creating relevant Discord channels for each segment on the radio server. Lils was to publish newsletter stuff, getting each organiser to write a bit about their segment for recruitment and also for the website radio page to make Scarlett’s life easier. The aim with newsletter advertising was to prioritise those that need more players first.
We needed to decide who was going to handle any further, post-meeting, organisation - Lils volunteered to. We also outlined what needed to be worked out - who is in each interlude, what we're doing in each, and how to balance pre-planned ones with donation incentive ones. We also got Lewis and Ben to help write a script for the introduction to the stream, and Lewis to agree to deliver it on the day.
Asked for someone to take point on this - Ben volunteered. Incentives to be similar to last years, without kazooing because of the time that took. Stretch goals are to ensure each has someone responsible for organising them before the stream - none to be made up on the fly, unlike last year.
Plan for the stream itself - a bare minimum version of every segment to test camera setups, with organiser presence only necessary if their setup had specific tech requirements. We're using tech from compsoc, and have the room (b2.02) booked all day, with an 11 am start.
