Term 2 Week 4 Exec Meeting Minutes

Alonso contact Pocket Workshop regarding pin badges/stickers for merch order. No reply yet
Kelsey ask Alvis if there will be a boardgames auction this year (if yes, roughly when). Alvis check game in wargs cupboard to see if wanted or to sell
Adam to look through old wargames books in b2.02 and check if soc still wants them or to be donated/sold (just decide)
Kelsey sort out event schedule (check room bookings, send to Fern, correct date in slides)
Kelsey and Alvis to decide what board games to use for Cheese & Chocolate collab
Anyone who wants to help with big rpgs to message ethan/isaac
Send any questions to Ben or Kelsey regarding society assembly
Everyone to put out feelers for new exec (esp faction reps) over next few weeks. Can promo position if needed.
Discuss with Alvis possibility of having assistant boardgames rep (and do they know any candidates?)

💭 Reminders/Updates

🕐 1. Cheese and Chocolate

Happening tonight 7-10pm in B2.02. Room booked from 5pm though
Arrive at 6.20/6.30pm for setup.
Charging £1 for members, £3 non-members. All profits split. I'm assuming they have a moeny box for this
Aiming for party games, classic favourites or easy-to-learn. 7 or 8 should be more than enough?

🕑 2. Wargames Storage

Massive thank you to Liam and Adam for lugging around a lot of the wargames stuff
It is barely sustainable now but is impossible in term 3, with new exec
Alvis has empty board game cases (expansions packed into main game)
So what are our ideas?? : Chase up DCS??, Board games auction?, Email SU about storage space?, LARP do you have anything you could donate/compress 2 boxes into 1?

🕒 3. Handover

Wk9 spring elections- as a society we CANNOT endorse them. As individuals we can but not as a soc
We voted to continue not doing SU campaigning on our discord
Handover pack has changed. Grant applications done in this now!! New deadline for handover pack is term 3 week 3
Mandatory report + support video; we will probably all have to do it?? Waiting for tsw
Will be exec quizzes
Kelsey is returning officer
Basically admin/onboarding new exec to be sorted in t3 instead of spread out
Exec training- will be saturday in t3 sometime.
You should be informed if a minor joins soc
Mon wk10 another exec networking.
Will be a socs assembly in term 3

Merch- we’ve reached out to suppliers so are just waiting for responses. Alonso and I have both emailed banana moon. Maybe we follow up pocket workshop in meantime. Fern ask finnbar to poke pocket workshop.
